On June 11, India\u2019s largest IT services companyTata Consultancy Services (TCS)<\/strong>Announced a \"global premier partnership\" with Anthropic.Fully deployed for 50,000 TCS employeesClaude<\/a>Series AI models<\/strong>, covering core departments such as engineering, finance, legal, marketing and sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not a \"try it first\" proof-of-concept project.Dedicated business units<\/strong>, focusing on Anthropic-based Claude<\/a>Model family develops industry solutions.Priority access to new models<\/strong>, and jointly bring to market with its enterprise customers around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s more noteworthy is that Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei made it clear: \u201cThis cooperation deepens our commitment to India, which is Anthropic\u2019s second largest market.\u201d TCS CEO K Krithivasan positioned this cooperation to help customers \u201center the production stage faster in an industry where trust, resilience and regulatory discipline are crucial.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just two days before the cooperation was announced (June 9), TCS Chairman N Chandrasekaran threw out an alarming figure at the annual shareholder meeting:\"TCS has 500,000 employees, and the day when the number of AI agents will be equal to that is not far away.\"<\/strong>This means that TCS is carefully planning a future organizational structure in which people and AI agents work \"peer-to-peer.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
