Even more astonishing is the company’s guidance for next quarter:$108 billion—meaning Nvidia is poised to become yet another company in history to achieve over $100 billion in quarterly revenue, joining Apple, Amazon, and Alphabet.

Data Center Business: $89.2 billion—AI compute demand has no ceiling.

Nvidia’s growth engine has one name: AI. Its data center business generated $89.2 billion in quarterly revenue, up over 100% year-on-year. By comparison, its “edge computing” business—which includes gaming GPUs—contributed only $7.2 billion, up 27% year-on-year but negligible relative to the scale of its AI business.

Nvidia candidly acknowledged in its earnings report that consumer PC sales are slowing and that “rising memory and system prices” are constraining consumer purchasing power. Yet clearly, the procurement frenzy by cloud providers and AI companieshas fully offset this shortfall.

Amazon Adds 2 Million More GPUs: Cloud Providers’ Arms Race

Just as Nvidia released its earnings report,Amazon announced an additional 2 million Nvidia GPUsto be deployed in AWS data centers—on top of its original plan to deploy 1 million GPUs, citing demand that “exceeded expectations.” The two companies also announced the introduction of Nvidia’s next-generation Vera CPU into AWS.

This is not an isolated case. Microsoft, Google, and Oracle cloud services are all aggressively purchasing Nvidia chips. Every new AI application, every model training run, and every inference call ultimately translates into Nvidia revenue.

Price Hike Fallout: AI Chips Are Getting Even More Expensive

Just days before the earnings release, Bloomberg reported that Nvidia had notified select major customersthat AI server prices would increase by more than 15%This marks Nvidia’s second price hike this year. With no meaningful competition in sight, Nvidia effectively holds pricing power—and cloud providers can only pass the cost on to end users.

For AI founders and developers, this meanscompute costs will continue risingAlthough OpenAI’s Jalapeño custom chip and Google’s TPUs aim to break Nvidia’s monopoly, Nvidia’s CUDA ecosystem and hardware advantages remain nearly unassailable in the short term.

Summary: In the AI Gold Rush, Nvidia Is the Biggest Pickaxe Seller

Nvidia is transforming from a “graphics card company” into the infrastructure monopolist of the AI era. $96.2 billion in quarterly revenue, $59.7 billion in profit, and a $108 billion guidance for the next quarter—figures unimaginable five years ago. As long as the AI industry keeps expanding, Nvidia’s money-printing machine won’t stop. The only open question is:When will antitrust regulators step in?

To stay updated on the latest AI tools and industry developments, visit AI Dash ——Discover the best AI tools.

[1

post-380","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
